The Afghanistan cable (dated June 24, 2009) discusses a meeting between Afghan Interior Minister Hanif Atmar and US assistant ambassador Joseph Mussomeli. Primary among Minister Atmar's concerns was a party partially thrown by DynCorp for Afghan police recruits in Kunduz Province.

Many of DynCorp's employees are ex-Green Berets and veterans of other elite units, and the company was commissioned by the US government to provide training for the Afghani police. According to most reports, over 95 percent of its $2 billion annual revenue comes from US taxpayers.

And in Kunduz province, according to the leaked cable, that money was flowing to drug dealers and pimps. Pimps of children, to be more precise. (The exact type of drugs were never specified although opium and heroin is widely used.) Houston Press

In the cable leaked by the Wikileaks website the party involved DynCorp International and the boys were "Bacha Bazi" loosely translated means "Boy Play". Bacha Boys are also called dancing boys but what they really are is 11 - 18 year old sex slaves that are owned by Afghan police, diplomats and wealthy drug lords. They are dressed in women clothes, they wear bells, they dance and they are rented and sold to the highest bidder. They are often sodomized by many men in a single night, sometimes resulting in death of the child.

Your tax dollars are paying for the rape and exploitation of young children in Afghanistan. DynCorp International did pay for parties and provided child sex slaves to the Afghanistan police officers that attended these events. These are facts.

The following comes from the DynCorp International website and is their "Code of Ethics"

  • We adhere scrupulously to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and fairness when engaged in any activity concerning the Company and its relationships with customers, suppliers, and the general public.
  • We comply with the spirit and letter of all applicable laws and regulations.
  • We deliver the highest quality service to our customers.
  • We compete vigorously in the marketplace and avoid business dealings that violate antitrust laws, conflict of interest principles, or procurement integrity guidelines.
  • We offer equal employment opportunities.

They should add, we also provide the youngest boys available for your sexual gratification.

Watch the 1 hour Documentary by clicking here

Minister Atmar urged the US State Department to shut down a reporter he heard was snooping around, and was horrified that a rumored videotape of the party might surface. He predicted that any story about the party would "endanger lives." He said that his government had arrested two Afghan police and nine Afghan civilians on charges of "purchasing a service from a child" in connection with the party, but that he was worried about the image of their "foreign mentors," by which he apparently meant DynCorp. American diplomats told him to chill. They apparently had a better handle on our media than Atmar, because when a report of the party finally did emerge, it was neutered to the point of near-falsehood. Houston Press

As a survivor of abuse I am outraged that an American company entrusted with Government contracts is allowed to get away with such horrid acts against humanity, horrible acts against innocent children. I urge you to share this story and to contact your congressmen. We must terminate the contracts held by DynCorp International.

I called DynCorp International today and asked about this story and the operator hung up on me 3 times.

Thank you for reading.

After reading the wikileaks cable document, watching documentary videos and researching this topic; I am sickened, saddened and outraged. The horror these children are being subjected to is unimaginable, the damage is irreparable and the conspiracy is Anti-American.

Knowing that a United States contractor is involved infuriates me beyond words.

Please share this story with everyone you know that can read.

Blamig DYNACORP or saying these HORRIFYING acts are the policy of the US govt or Dynacorp is just a way to use these children once more....to make political points.

Sickening, but sadly, not at all surprising.

This is not surprising. But what's also sad is the American people who don't speak out against those who hurt others. And I mean neighbors, co-workers and others. It's easy to condemn; but ask yourself if you call the cops. Ask yourself if you investigate. I don't see much room for complaints from anyone who doesn't continually go out of their way to protect their fellow human being.

I understand that our contractors are supposed to be non judgemental and accepting of these heathen cultures but providing the dancing boys for gay sex parties seems a bit much.

Maybe President Obama should reassess the wisdom of a plan to turn over control to a government that is bribed in boy prostitutes.

They'll never be punished. The US government has child molestors and pedophiles working in sensitive positions even as we speak. In the military, there's always an investigation concerning someone with enough rank to be noticed getting charged with some form of pedophilia or child molestation and it's usually swept under the rug. Dyncorp has had it's hooks in the government for ages. Nothing will be done.

Sadly this type of obscene and evil behavior seems pervasive among those who have great power.

June 29, 1989, The headline from the Washington Times read as follows:

Homosexual Prostitution Inquiry ensnares VIPs with Reagan, Bush.

http://www.voxfux.com/features/bush_child_sex_coverup/franklin.htm

This evil is nearly as old as man. It has corrupted govt and law enforcement all over the world. How wonderful it would be if the medium of internet was the instrument that finally brought these sons of Satan down.

This is evil, pure unadulterated evil.

AlKhidr.....refering to your comment below

You are so correct. Interesting that the charge they level at Assange is of a sexual nature. He is not a threat to nat'l security, he is a threat to evil people committing evil deeds.

And what is the famiiar response to Wikileaks? That its release of the truth would cost lives? No one has been able to document a single loss of life due to Wikileaks, and even its many detractors continue to bad mouth it even as they pour over the leaked documents. Some have worried that the US has lost prestige over releasing this information. As the above article shows, the prestige was already lost when deals like this were made with the devil.

Girls are not sought after, they are covered from head to toe with traditional clothing. It kind of falls into the pedophile priests category. Availability of boys is unlimited, girls are not readily available. I doubt that it matters, people that seek little boys want little boys. Period.

A sad and sickening story. Money and power will corrupt and it is clear that the US is diminished morals when it comes to "sex" and other corrupt behavior.

Some corporate elitists in the US are also supporting a immoral and disgusting underworld. For example, the "too big to fail banks" are also supporting drug use by high level employees and turning a blind eye to risky visits to the local palors of New York madams. The story has come out, but has received little exposure. Frankly, I think toleration of situations like this come from the top CEO's, and from our own military leaders.

My heart is broken. This story must go viral. The only people that are going to stop this are us. We have to voice our outrage and not stop. The depth of depravity and evil associated with this is sickening. The lives of these children holds no meaning to the abusers. It is after reading this I think of the death penalty. Every man that touched a child sexually needs to be shot. There is no worth to prison. Sexual desires do not trump the lives of our children. That we are funding this activity with our tax dollars makes me feel ill.

I am going to have my head served to me on a platter for writing this, so I will start by saying I have no use for pedophiles or sexual tourists. I do not even understand that attraction.

Thailand has its "Lady Boys". In many parts of the world, sex with young boys is not considered the evil it is here. There is no shame attached to the boy or to his active partner. I read Kevin's article on being abused. It is shameful, but he did nothing to be ashamed about. Much of the shame he feels though may well be the result of the reactions of his peers who will tell him he must feel he is no longer a man or other such crap. But I do not want to ascribe to someone emotions I do not feel.

In cultures where women are not worthly of love (they are bought) or not available, man with man sex is common. Many countries have an acceptable institution of "the special friend." These friendships may or may not be sexual. The people involved in these relationships are not gay in the Western sense of the word. Most will marry, have kids, but keep the "special freindship" that is based on love and not ownership.

The taboo against relationships between older men and boys is relatively new even in the West. One of the earlier debates on the subject is found in Plato's Symposium where there is a discussion of who was the lover (older) and who was the beloved (younger), Achilles or Patrocles. Leonardo DaVinci and Michelangelo both had young lovers. The relationship at the time was not considered a stain on their masculinity. Often it was part of the duties of ship's cabin boy to satisfy the needs of the captain on long voyages. Churchill is often credited with saying that there were only two traditions in the British navy, drunkenness and buggery.

"Lady boys" and "Dancing boys" are often created through poverty. It is this or starve. The incomes they earn can feed entire families. Of course, many are trafficked and abused as are adult female prostitutes. The world is not so nice a place.

My point is that in the world there are many cultural differences. What is accepted in one culture is taboo in another. There are cultures where eating a killed enemy is a sign that you honor him. We react in horror. That we allow our girls to date is considered terrible by some others. Just as we react angrily when we believe someone is putting down our culture, we must be careful not to impose our standards on others.

Now, I do think an American firm or any firm under contract to the US government who uses any part of the sex trade for business purposes should be prosecuted. Their actions make us look like hypocrites and cost us any claim to the moral high ground. But as the current leaks show, we have not been so great at upholding the standards we demand of others.

I recall when I lived in Colombia being told that if I wanted someone killed, I could hire a small boy for the price of a carton of cigarettes to put an ice pick in his heart. The boy would feel nothing. We sit in our western comfort zones and ignore the fact that in many parts of the world people are starving, children as young a four and five`are working long hours every day for a little food, children sleep on the streets, ignored and unloved. We put these children out of our minds and hearts except to rage about sexual abuse - now and then - and then we forget them.

What is this is business as usual for the company?

According to whistleblower Ben Johnston, a former aircraft mechanic who worked for the company in Bosnia, DynCorp employees and supervisors engaged in sex with 12 to 15 year old children, and sold them to each other as slaves. Ben Johnston ended up fired, forcing him into protective custody. According to Johnston, none of the girls were from Bosnia itself, but were kidnapped by DynCorp employees from Russia, Romania and other places.

We put these children out of our minds and hearts except to rage about sexual abuse - now and then - and then we forget them.

Aside from the fact that I do not live in the west with your "comfort zones" (how comfortable is this, I wonder: between 1.2 to 2.8 million American kids runaway from home according to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention; 720,000 youth were treated in US emergency rooms for injuries caused by violence in 2005 according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; 21% of American children live below the Federal poverty level, nearly 50% of all US children live at the low income level according to the National Center for Child Poverty), what I think outrages people here is that their tax money went to a US hired contractor that engaged in pimping out children.

No one is shocked that children both in the US and outside it are mistreated. What is shocking is that the self-appointed sheriff of the world and general proclaimer of human rights would be willing to fork out the hard-earned dollars of its own citizens to engage in this nefarious activity. Moreover, we would not know of this abuse if not for wikileaks, while the US government seeks to shut it down and prosecute its organizers as a threat to democratic principles--the very principles the wikileaks has exposed as being compromised by the US government for Machiavellian purposes.

I have agreed that DynCorp should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I also agree that Wikileaks has done a great service to American democracy. I do find it surprising that so many Americans are surprised that this type of stuff goes on with the active or inactive support of our government.

There are sometimes valid reasons why other countries are not exactly in love with us. You will note that Wikileaks shows a diplomacy based not on spreading freedom and democracy but on greed. We are not alone in this. Look at the countries not attending the Nobel Prize ceremonies today because they do not want to endanger economic ties with China. Mention money, and principles go out the window.

Personally I would love to learn that the leaks were done on purpose to get Americans once more involved in the real policies that are guiding our foreign policy. I doubt it. America is a great country. We fail only when we abandon our principles for political expediency. We did the same during the Cold War when all any dictator had to do was cry "Commies" and the US would stomp out the opposition - no matter how legitimate the opposition was. Now one has only to yell, "Islamic radicals!"

Oscar Wilde once wrote, "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." I am afraid we have stopped even looking at the stars. We face many challenges we can meet as a united, well informed people. Now we seem to be neither.

I agree with your comments on China. Even if wikileaks managed a coup of information on the sleazy side of China's power structure, the bulk of the Chinese would never read it as they are effectively cut off from any criticism.

The Single Biggest Disappointment Of the Obama Administration is the WAY in Which they have Totally Kow-Towed to The Military/Intelligence/Industrial Complex in America since they Came into Office.

Many of us Had HOPED That they would be the 1st in Decades to Actually STAND UP to Them, But, Obviously we were Mistaken. And That DOES Indeed Give Many Like ME Reason to Consider WHY we Should Back Obama for Re-Election.

He Had BETTER Figure OUT that JUST Appeasing the far Right in America is NOT a Prescription for Success in his Own Party!

I have read words of defense here where no defense is possible. I have seen rejection, deflection, spin, hyperbole and projection here where facts and exposure are clear. Does it strike anyone else that these are the same tools being wielded on every front, through every campaign, on every issue by the wealthy corporate elite? Doesn't it seem more than coincidental that politicians who are deeply loyal and beholden to these monsters are employing the same tactics, the same techniques of evasion and the same methods of lies, bullying and suppression?

There is a culture of entitlement, utter disdain and empowerment that define the level of humans who have become nonhuman, who have sunk to the level of dark beasts and virus ridden monsters, displaying indifference and ego that enables them to visit horror on children, women, old folks, the poor and helpless who only have their personal dignity left to them. The wealthy corporate elite have NOTHING of gentilty and humanity in them. They even steal dignity and drive their victims to suicide in their despair...ut the wealthy corporate elite DON'T CARE! They are the scourge of the earth and the incarnate visitation of Satan himself upon us.

I am beside myself with the arrogance and utter disregard for not only American values but human values that these monied creatures of Hell visit on the innocent. I see young people who aspire to their status and power. I see the world degrading to a cesspool of violence and debauchery through their teachings. CAPITALISTS! Bah! Bull$h!t! This isn't capitalism! They are the sour vomit of the world! These are the actions of the foul, fetid, rotting, bacteria that call themselves elite!

I am not merely responding to the allegations presented here. I am REACTING to yet another anecdote of evil in what is an endless stream of anecdotes, not to mention my personal experiences with the haughty rich.

I would stand in the street alone and and even without this latest potential and shake with anger at the mistreatments and rotten to the core attitudes at the hands of the wealthy. I would cry at the condition of the downtrodden while bejeweled matrons stepped on their bodies. I would rail and shake my fists while children starved and politicians endeavored to kill school breakfasts.

No, this is not a singular anger, nor is it one that has only been charged by recent events. This is an anger borne of centuries of malfeasance, arrogance, snobbish disdain and utter disregard for lives, rights or environment. This is an "us" defending ourselves "against them" mentality.

What do you believe precipitates uprisings? What do you suppose starts revolutions? What is it that fuels the fires in the bellies of the masses on seemingly regular intervals in history? WHY do large populations that are normally peaceful and focused on personal survival suddenly coalesce and strike UP?

Simply put, it is an aggregation of abuse. It is a building of "ENOUGH!" Such a thing is in process today and those who see it without denial or rose colored glasses are angered by it. God help all concerned when it sets the emotional strings of the population of the world to high pitch.

Whether WikiLeaks is correct or not is largely moot. They are not causal here . They are a symptom. The emotional strings are already starting to howl. This does not have to be a response of reason. The wealthy corporate elite are unwisely hammering emotions. Witness yesterday's streets of London and the treatment of their beloved royalty. Watch the faces in the street carefully, listen to the humming pitch of crowds and read The Prince.

The message is clear.

First, you insist Wikileaks is credible.

Excellent spin. Excellent insertion of twisted logic, false assumptions, seeing what you're looking for even though it's not there. Excellent diversion and projection. I gather that you're a pro teamer.

Then you say its credibility is irrrelevant

Contrary to your projection, and in spite of your spin, I don't hold Wiki to be gospel, nor do I count them as liars. I don't see them as an undeniable source nor do I view them as congenital liars. History will vindicate them or vilify them in its own due course. Thus far, they are only proven anecdotal...except for the reactions by governments, corporations and defensive individuals that were the subjects of the revelations. That is good and proper support for Wiki right there. As my mother would say, "Guilt is written right there on your forehead!".

Also, stupid people being duped by psychopaths start revolutions.

Your discreditation attempt with its accusations of mental unbalance and sociopathy are priceless. I would gather by this lame attempt that you are a lawyer, and a bloody poor one, or that you have taken my remarks personally and are striking back in your own version of emotional pique. In either event, seeing through the effort is not difficult.

Your statement is SO false as to be laughable. Masses don't move or change so easily. Underlying conditions must exist for even the most minor of spontaneous mass actions. Psycopaths like Hitler are historically able to channel these masses' emotions from time to time but they are NEVER the root cause for uprising. Oppression, suppression, manipulation, open lies, and generally perceived social injustice ARE.

I suppose that people like Patrick Henry, great orator that he was and inspirer that he was, was mentally unstable. The same may be argued about Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther King Jr., Franklin Delano Roosevelt or even Mao Tse Tung simply because each, in his own way was the inspiration for social revolution. Interesting, but no. Without the correct conditions charging the populations to act, each of these larger than life people would have fallen flat.

Sorry, your spaghetti colander approach to argument doesn't fly. Have fun trying again.

So all cable documents should be dismissed because of one claim where some of the information was not presented? Of the tens of thousand of documents released, do you have evidence that there is a systematic attempt to obfuscate or distort (beyond what diplomats do on a daily basis)? If this is so, then why isn't that claim being substantially made by any government except China's and North Korea's?

Let me put it this way. Robert Gates flew to Afghanistan two days ago and announced that the Wikileaks on Afghanistan have been an embarrassment. He could have said a gross distortion, a twisting of the truth, or something to that effect. He said it was an embarrassment. Only China, North Korea, and, oh, that's right, Sarah Palin, have made claims that what Wikileaks has released are out and out lies.

For the record, I'm skeptical of most things I see on the Internet or in print. But as for being trusted, I would like the story here investigated with more effort than the US government did for its claims of WMDs as a pretext for invading Iraq or the holding back of the information on the alleged torpedo boat attack that got us neck deep in Vietnam. If this story is false, it will come out in the wash--unlike the Iraq and Vietnam war. As I said earlier, the track record for the US government is worse than Wikileaks.

This waste of electrons was precipitated by satisfying arrogance and ignorance and I will end it here.

That said, I want to thank Answers.com and all of the contributors who understand, collate and present FULL versions history as history, not merely as soundbytes to support a narrow opinion:

    Sarah's illness

In 1771 Patrick and his wife Sarah moved into their Scotchtown estate along with their children: Martha ("Patsy"), Anne, Elizabeth ("Betsy"), John, William, and Edmund ("Neddy"). Sarah "started to manifest disturbing behaviors which could not at that time be diagnosed or treated. ...her mental condition deteriorated rapidly, and when she became dangerous to herself and others, she was clothed in a 'Quaker shirt,' an early form of strait jacket."[7]
Following the general practice of the time, Patrick's friends and his physician, Dr. Thomas Hinde, advocated she be moved to the public hospital in Williamsburg. But after inspecting the facilities Patrick "saw that if he agreed, his wife would be locked into a windowless brick cell containing only a filthy mattress on the floor and a chamber pot. There she would be chained to the wall with a leg iron. Appalled by what he saw, he instead prepared a private, two-room apartment for her in the basement of Scotchtown. Each room had a window, providing light, air circulation, and a pleasant view of the grounds. The apartment also had a fireplace, which provided good heat in the winter, and a comfortable bed to sleep in."[7]
Patrick himself (or a slave when he was away on business) took care of Sarah and "watched over her, fed her, bathed her, and prevented her from harming herself."[7] Sarah died in the spring of 1775 "Because of her illness-then thought to have been caused by being 'possessed by the devil' - she was denied a religious funeral service or a Christian burial. Her grieving husband, 'bowed down and bleeding under the heaviest sorrows and personal distresses,' buried her thirty feet from the home they shared and planted a lilac tree next to her grave to remember her. The tree still stands there, a few steps from the door to her basement apartment."[7]

A picture is worth a thousand words and we have seen this picture. As God as my witness, I worry all of the time about the children who are subjected to these vile men. Those closest to me know that if anyone were to touch my grandchildren inappropriately, I would kill that person. If only there was something I could do for these children!
